Pretzel Nugget Nachos
A classic favorite gets a fun twist with pretzels! Enjoy pretzels nachos smothered with cheddar sauce and all your favorite toppings.

Serves: 2
● 1 tablespoon butter
● 1 tablespoon flour
● 1 1/2 cups whole milk
● 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
● 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
● 1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
● 1 (12-ounce) package Pretzel Nuggets or bits
● 1 small tomato, diced
● 1/2 small red onion, diced
● 1 small jalapeno, seeded and sliced
● Chopped cilantro, for garnish
● Sour cream, for serving
- Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add flour and whisk for 1 minute. Whisk in milk and bring to a simmer. Once thickened, turn off heat and add cheddar cheese. Whisk until completely smooth. Add garlic and cayenne and mix to combine. Set aside.
- Heat pretzel nuggets according to package directions. Arrange on a serving dish.
- Drizzle 3/4 cup of cheese sauce over the pretzel nuggets and reserve the remaining for dipping. Sprinkle tomato, red onion and jalapeno over pretzel nuggets. Garnish with chopped cilantro and place a scoop of sour cream on top. Enjoy immediately.
