Cinnamon Spiced Mixed Nuts
Every gathering needs a snackable treat, and these cinnamon-spiced nuts are the perfect option! Easy to bake and full of cozy flavor, they're ideal for any occasion!
Ingredients:
2 cups mixed nuts (such as almonds, pecans, cashews, and walnuts)
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
3 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp allspice
1/4 tsp salt
**Directions:
**1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, combine the mixed nuts and melted butter, stirring to coat evenly.
3. In a separate small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, salt, and cayenne pepper if using. Sprinkle this mixture over the buttered nuts and stir until all nuts are evenly coated.
4. Spread the nuts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12–15 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until the nuts are golden and fragrant. Keep an eye on them to avoid burning.
5. Remove the nuts from the oven and let them cool completely on the baking sheet. They will become crisp as they cool. Once cooled, transfer the nuts to an airtight container. They will keep fresh for up to a week.
