In 1947, Walt Macey and Dale A. Jones started the "Save-A-Nickel-Market" in Rosepark, Utah. "Macey's" grew from this small store into a multi-store chain by providing personalized service and genuine old-fashioned friendliness.

Macey's is now serving the communities of Providence, Ogden, Clearfield, West Jordan, Sandy, Orem, Provo, Spanish Fork, Tooele and Pleasant Grove. Macey's is pleased to be a part of each of these communities.

Macey's supermarkets are easy to shop and comfortable. They offer an in-store bakery, delicatessen, one-hour photo lab, full-service grocery, meat, produce, and a non-foods department and, above all, friendly service. Macey's Little Theaters offer a variety of free seminars providing ideas on everything from entertaining and cooking to consumer tips.
